VTCI is committed to delivering high quality and dependable communication services to rural South Texas. As a VTCI subscriber, you need operator services that control the amount of money you are charged on a per call basis.
Each time you dial "0"or "0" + area code and telephone number, you will hear a recording that says, "VTCI Operator, For English Press 1 Para Espanol Oprima el 2" followed by a short pause. We made every effort to keep the service friendly by eliminating long menu options that make it difficult to reach a live person.
No matter where you go in the United States, the use of an operator to dial a call will always be expensive. Dialing direct (1 + area code + telephone number) is the most affordable way to call. Your direct long distance calling rates are not changing! However, when in need of assistance, take comfort in knowing that the fee for using the operator will now be controlled.
Please understand that you will incur high toll costs when using an operator to help you dial a call. Rates for operator services are $0.24 to $0.47 cents per minute and $4.00 to $5.00 lower for special service requests.
